Solvinity and Ministry of Justice and Security enter into long-term collaboration
The Ministry of Justice and Security has entered into a long-term partnership with Solvinity for Justitie Beveiligde Internet Toegang (Justice Secure Internet Access) (JuBIT3) and related services. In addition to the design, implementation and management of this central interface between the shielded internal network and external networks such as the Internet and cloud platforms, Solvinity also provides additional managed services for the Ministry’s eighteen sectors. JuBIT3 is the innovative successor to JuBIT2, which has been managed by Solvinity since 2012.
Secure connections to external networks are of great importance to the Ministry in providing services to citizens and businesses, especially now that the number of digital threats from these external networks is increasing. Data and information systems are becoming increasingly valuable targets, which is why it is crucial that access and information security are up to par.
To secure access to external networks, Solvinity has designed the Jupiter platform: the ‘Justice Platform Infrastructure for Internet, Exploration and Resilience’. Jupiter is delivered as a combination of security, hosting and monitoring services, so that malicious information traffic is filtered and attacks on joint services, vital systems and the internal network can be prevented.
In addition, the Ministry recognises the need for continuous innovation in today’s rapidly changing digital world, which is why Solvinity, in cooperation with the Ministry, will continuously come up with initiatives to improve services and make these safer, more efficient and more agile. Focus areas include process automation and optimisation.
“I am extremely proud of the Ministry’s confidence in also awarding the JuBIT3 service to Solvinity,” said Hans van den Broek, CEO of Solvinity. ““It is a major compliment to all our employees and partners, who have been working round the clock for over ten years now to provide the Ministry with reliable and secure platform services. By choosing Solvinity, the Ministry has opted for an innovative partner who understands what is needed to be able to operate in a secure manner in the future as well.”
