ONVZ extends collaboration with Solvinity for security, stability and compliance in the cloud

Collaboration strengthens existing hybrid cloud infrastructure and facilitates public cloud migration

Amsterdam, 25 January 2022 – Healthcare insurer ONVZ is extending its collaboration with Solvinity, one of the largest providers of Secure Managed IT Services in the Netherlands. Over the coming five years, they will both focus on guaranteeing the security, compliance and stability of the ONVZ infrastructure.

Solvinity and ONVZ have been working together since 2016. ONVZ works with its own datacentres, but relocated to Solvinity’s private cloud in order to enable greater innovation and scalability for its systems. In 2019, this collaboration was extended to improve the manageability, security and compliance of the infrastructure. This resulted, among other things, in the delivery of Project STRAIN (Standardisation and RAtionalisation of the IT-INfrastructure), in which the infrastructure was standardised according to Solvinity’s best practices. With this, ONVZ is able to fulfil the increasingly stringent security and compliance requirements of DNB and the CIS baseline, among others, so that customers rest assured that their data is secure.

In the context of the current extension, the scope of the collaboration is being extended to the Azure public cloud. On the landing zones in Azure, which are managed by an external IT-supplier, Solvinity will supervise and guide the migration of applications and provide technical application management. ONVZ’s private cloud environment will continue to be managed, in its entirety, by Solvinity.
